FACIM is also an international exhibition centre and multi-sectorial of companies of different branches.

Just as Mozambique is the gateway for entrance in the Southern Africa region, due to its geographical location, FACIM is one of the entrance doors for local and foreigner enterpreneurs start their businesses in the SADC region.

FACIM has a long experience in organising trade fairs and exhibitions. At present it is managed by SOGEX, a private consortium with large experience in management of fairs and exhibitions, since many years.

SOGEX (Sociedade Gestora de Feiras, Exposições e Congressos SARL) is a consortium with large experience in the organization of exhibitions, and it offers high standard services with good quality and in agreement with the expectations of the exhibitors.

SOGEX specializes in the organization of fairs and besides being the organizer of the largest international fair in Mozambique, it owners one of the largest showgrounds in terms of space (FACIM) and also organizer of other specialized fairs, as for instance: BTM – Maputo Tourism Fair, TEXTILE FASHION, EXPOBRINDES AND EXPOAUTO, INFORÁFRICA among others.
